Reports are created before a template is exported or imported that check supported features and provide advice for dealing with possible issues.
A Dependency report is created before a site template is exported by a system administrator, and a Compatibility report is created before a template is imported.
The reports can be saved as a PDF and used for reference if configuration changes are required.
If you import a template to a new instance then the new instance may not include all the features required by the template. The Compatibility report, displayed before the template is imported will highlight missing features, if you are unable to activate a feature in System settings, please contact HighQ support to configure missing features.
Dependency reports
Before you export a template, a Dependency report is created. This report lists dependencies that the site template configuration has on content from other sites, with information on how these dependencies will be handled in the exported template. The report includes advice on what actions can be attempted if an issue is detected.
This step allows you to cancel the export, check the template configuration and make any necessary changes. If this is the case, click Download report as PDF to keep the report for reference, then Cancel.
The report includes information and advice for each module or feature that is available in the template.
Compatibility reports
After selecting a template to import, but before the template is imported, a Compatibility report is created. This lists modules and features that are included in the template. If the target instance does not support features included in the template, this will be highlighted, along with tips on dealing with any issues that may occur.
This step allows you to cancel the import, check the target instance configuration and make any necessary changes. If this is the case, click Download report as PDF to keep the report for reference, then Cancel.
