Register and log in with HighQ Hub

Product Filter HighQ Collaborate
Product Area Filter HighQ Hub

HighQ Hub provides a single location where a person can log in and, from there, access any instance of Collaborate they have been invited to, provided the person's email address is the same in each instance.

Registering for HighQ Hub

To take advantage of this feature, first register for HighQ Hub by selecting HighQ Hub from the user-profile menu after logging in to any Collaborate instance:

Some HighQ instances have this menu item hidden.

An email invitation will be sent to the email address on record for that Collaborate instance, inviting the user to HighQ Hub. Click on the link in that email and create a password for HighQ Hub. HighQ Hub has a separate password from any other Collaborate instance, but is otherwise subject to the same minimum password requirements.

Accessing Collaborate Instances via HighQ Hub

Once a user's HighQ Hub account has been created, the user only needs to remember their HighQ Hub password to access any instance they have access to.  First, go to the HighQ Hub site and log in. On many instances, there is a link to login via HighQ Hub:

Alternatively, go directly to the HighQ Hub site. Log in from there:

There is also the ability to reset a password.

After logging in, HighQ Hub will list every site in every instance a user with that same email address has access to:

Click on a site name to be taken to that site and automatically logged in to that instance.

HighQ Hub has a few other features:

  1. The ability to favourite any sites
  2. The ability to search for a site by name using the search box
  3. Resort the list of sites by site name or instance
  4. Filter the sites by different criteria from the menu, like Favourites, alphabetical, site category, etc.

HighQ Hub and Single Sign-On

If a user works for a company that has SSO enabled on their Collaborate instance, when that user accesses HighQ Hub from a configured IP address, they will be logged in automatically to HighQ Hub. Therefore, users with the benefit of SSO can access any Collaborate instance without a password.

Limitations on HighQ Hub

HighQ Hub includes several restrictions on how it works:

  1. If two-factor authentication is applied to an instance, when a user goes to that instance from HighQ Hub, they will still be required to enter a passcode. This does not apply if the user is accessing Collaborate via SSO, in which case no passcode is required.
  2. If a Collaborate instance has a maximum password age restriction applied, then a user will not be able to log in automatically from HighQ Hub to that instance. The same will apply if the Collaborate instance does not permit a user to directly log in.
  3. If a user is a System Administrator on a Collaborate instance, then the user will not be able to log in automatically from HighQ Hub to that instance, even using SSO.
