Channel permissions enable you to determine who can view your channel. After creating the channel and adding the related metadata, the Permissions tab is displayed:

In this screen, select the permissions of the channel. You can choose whether the channel is Restricted, or Public:

This determines whether the channel can be viewed by just a restricted group of users, or by anyone accessing the channel ('Public').
If Public is selected, click Save to save your changes.
If Restricted is selected, you have access to the following screen:

The Organisations and groups section enables you to add specific organisations and groups, which acts as the permission grouping. All users in each of the organisations, user groups or organisation groups will have permission to view the channel.
After selecting the user groups, organisations and organisation groups that will be able to view the channel, they will be shown in a list:

Every organisation, user group and organisation group that has access to the channel is listed here. To remove one of the above groups, organisation groups or organisations, click the red x next to the row.
Click Save to save all of your changes.
Click Next to display the Admin tab.
