As of version 5.6, we have introduced the ability for users to drag and drop folders, their structures and contents into HighQ.
Please note that in order for a user to be able to do this, they must have Add file rights for the site they are wanting to add these folders to
This functionality is compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Please note that this functionality is not compatible with Windows Internet Explorer
Adding folders via drag and drop
Within your site, navigate to the Files module:

And within the Files module, navigate to where you want to upload your new folders. Once you are in the correct location, find your folders within your computer file system, select which folders you wish to drag and drop and drag and drop them into the files module:

As you are attempting to drag and drop your folders, you will see the above message, informing you that you can drop your files and folders there.
Once you have initiated the upload, you will see the following message:

Detailing that the new folder structure is being created.
Additionally, you will see the following messages:

Detailing how much of the upload is left to do. You can also click the down arrow next to this message, to view the status of each document and folder:

And finally, when your upload is complete, you will see the following message:

Informing you that your upload has completed.
Permissions assigned to the folders depend on the default inherit settings.
The uploaded folder structure and the files in HighQ will maintain the folder structure and organisation as it was, in the source file system.
The drag and drop folder functionality has a limit of 2000 files within a folder.
