The Home edit page consists of a field to add a Dashboard name, and buttons to add Panels and Sections.

  2. Enter the page content in the main section. (There is a separate guide for using the text editor as well as instructions for embedding other site content.)

By default, permissions are restricted.

Multiple home pages

As of 5.4, site administrators can choose to have multiple home pages within a site.

When you visit a site where you have access to more than one home page, you will see a list, and within that drop down list, all available Home pages that you have access to, listed by name (and translated to match the user's language, if available):

2020-07-14_09-28-26

Please note that the pages will appear in the order that the site administrator has chosen

Please note that if the user does not have permissions to view Client home for example; it will not be displayed in this list.

Migration from 5.3 to 5.4
When an instance is migrated from 5.3 to 5.4, the dashboard service checks the integrity of site home pages. If it identifies any issues, the home page is not migrated. As a result, the home page for some sites, site templates, or new sites based on a site template, may be missing after the upgrade to 5.4.
Please check site templates before you create a new site. If you find a site created from a template that is missing a home page, please ask your system administrator to check the template before you try again. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact the HighQ support team.
