Users now have the ability to make a choice column into a score column, but please note that score columns are not currently compatible with workflow, document automation templates and data visualisation.
A score column adds numerical values to a choice column. These values may be manipulated and displayed in calculation columns.
You can either add a new Choice column or 'upgrade' a current Choice column. Click on Manage Columns in the iSheet and then click on the Choice column. Change the Column Type to Score as shown below.
In addition to the standard choice options, you may choose a score column. Add your scores in for each choice.
Make any further changes if required and then press Save. To see the new scores you will need to go to the iSheet that contains the score column. In the Add Record screen, the 'choice' option allows you to select a value.
To see the score displayed in the iSheet you need to create a calculation column, where the new choice column can be used, validate the calculation, save the new column and then return back to the iSheet. The iSheet will then show the score of the choice displayed.
You can "upgrade" a Choice column to a Score column, however any charts using the Choice column field will not work as "Score" is not a valid Chart column type. It is suggested that Site Admins would be better to not upgrade Choice to Score for columns that are used for charts until Score is added to the list of column types.
It is not possible to revert from a Score column to a Choice column.
