Permissions
Depending on how your site is set, Permissions can be based on either group permissions or individual user permissions.
Navigate to Admin > Site settings > Security.
The Security screen will be displayed:
To use groups for permissioning select the Use groups for permissioning check box and click Save. To enable individual permissioning, deselect the Use groups for permissioning check box and click Save.
If you have deselected this option, in order to set a user's permissions from the User page, click More actions > Set permissions for the user who you want to change permissions:
The Set user permissions screen is displayed:
Here you can select some Module based permissions, specific Files permissions and also you can add a user to an Admin group. Once you have set the permissions for the user, click Save.
If the Use groups for permissioning check box is selected, you cannot change a user's permissions on a per user basis.
