Manage iSheet templates

Product Filter HighQ Collaborate
Product Area Filter Sites and templates, iSheets

System administrators can manage iSheet templates from System admin > iSheet admin:

In iSheet admin, system administrators can update, delete and change the status of existing iSheet templates, as well as create new iSheet templates.

System administrators may also sort the list of iSheet templates to define the order in which the iSheet templates appear in the drop-down list for Site admins when they choose to import an iSheet from a template in a site.

Edit template properties

Clicking Edit beside an iSheet template in the list of templates allows you to update the name of a template or change the status.  Changing an iSheet template status from Active to Pending will remove the iSheet template from the list of available iSheets for import by site admins.

If you have the SQL Connector, this is where Template parameters are defined.  If you would like more information about the SQL connector, please contact your Account Manager.

Edit iSheet templates

In order to make changes to an iSheet template configuration, as well as its columns and views, click on the template title in the list and use the Add / Edit links.

You can make changes and additions in the same way you would in any other iSheet.

Deleting an iSheet template

It is possible to delete templates if they are no longer required by checking the checkbox next to the title.

Then clicking Delete templates from the buttons above. Once you have clicked delete, you will need to confirm this action before it will be completed.

If you attempt to delete an iSheet template that has one or more linked iSheets deployed, you will be unable to do so and will see a message similar to the following:

Alternatively, you may mark such an iSheet template as Pending to make it unavailable for selection by Site Admins going forward:

Making an iSheet template that has deployed linked iSheets pending will not change the status of those existing linked iSheets.  If you wanted to change the status of all deployed linked iSheets to pending as well, you may do so by clicking the iSheet template name, and modifying the Status in the Edit iSheet properties:
