Overview of the report
This report gives the user the ability to view the module access audit which can be broken down by user, organisation or specific role.
Running the report
Navigate to System administration > Audits and reporting > Module access audit to view the Module access audit screen:

Within the Module access audit screen, you have access to the following fields:
- Acting organisation: Here, you can specify an organisation you want the report to be filtered by. (If this field is left blank, the results will be shown for all organisations)
- Select product: Within this field, you can select the modules that users have access to within the system (E.g. Publications, Events, Videos, Comparison Toolkits etc.)
- Select country: You can use this field to select a country within the system. Please note that this is based on the metadata node
- Select users: Here, you can specify a user you want this report to be based on. If this field is left blank, the information displayed will relate to all users
- Select role: Here, you can specify a user's role you want this report to be based on. If this field is left blank, the information displayed will relate to all roles
- Exclude internal organisation: Here, you can specify if you want to exclude internal organisations (a group) from the results
- Grid report / Pivot report: Here, you choose which style of report you want to show
As of our 5.7 release, we have introduced a new filter within this audit report to enable administrators to remove system administrators or content administrators (or both) from the reports.
This enables you to provide accurate statistics of the publication views, without statistics from the content administrator.
To use this new filter, within the audit screen, click either Exclude by groups:

Or, Exclude by administrator:

This includes, excluding system administrators, channel administrators, approvers, module administrators and editors.
Please note that the exclude filters will have a higher priority than the Filter by Organisation/Group and Users, in order to ensure that these filters are executed
Additionally, please note that when the filter includes adding organisations or groups, then they will be excluded from the exclusion organisation / groups section and vice versa. And as system administrators are also editors/approvers/module admins etc., when each of those are selected, they will be excluded from that report
Click Show audit to view your final audit.
As of version 5.5. we have made improvements to the user journey of the Module Access Audit report by splitting
out the ability to download the report to excel and show the audit (rather than needing to review the audit
before being given the option to download).
