When either the Tasks or Q&A module(s) have been enabled within a site, additional options may be displayed for every file in the Files module.
Add task
When the Tasks module is enabled for a site, any user with access to that module will have access to the Add task option:
Similarly, in the Add file and Edit file screens, an Add new task option is displayed. These options permit the user to create a new task and associate the selected file with a task. More details can be found here and tasks created from the Tasks module or the Files module are identical in every other way.
All tasks associated with files will only be displayed in the files module if they are complete.
Ask question
When the Q&A module has been enabled for a site, any user with access to that module will see the Ask Question option for every folder and file in that site:
Clicking Ask Question will display the Ask question dialogue, which is discussed in more detail here. Questions raised from the Q&A module or from the Files module are identical in every other way.
