Product Filter HighQ Collaborate
Product Area Filter System dashboards

System Dashboards allow system administrators to create tailored landing pages, so that different organisations or groups entering the platform see content that applies to them.

Creating a System Dashboard

To create a System Dashboard, as a System administrator, navigate to the profile dropdown menu and click System admin:

You must have system admin permissions to access this screen.

The System admin screen opens. Within the System admin screen, navigate to the System dashboards button and click:

The new System Dashboards section opens:

Within the new System Dashboards section, system administrators can add new system dashboards, edit, archive and set existing ones as the default and manage system dashboard permissions.

Adding a new System Dashboard

To add a new System Dashboard, within the System Dashboards screen, click Add:

The Add System Dashboard screen opens:

Here, you can add the:

Name - This is the name of the System Dashboard

Please note that the name cannot be a duplicate of an existing dashboard name

Tooltip - This is the tooltip of the System Dashboard. This is the information that is shown to the system administrator when adding a new link.

Description - This is the description of the dashboard, shown when viewing all within the System Dashboards section.

Categories/Purposes - These are the site purposes you can add to your System Dashboard. This enables you to group dashboards in the same way you would with sites.

Please note, that for each of the fields where you enter free text, you can also enter translations. This means that if a user is using HighQ in French, and you have entered a French translated description, it will be displayed in French to them

To add a translation, click the Globe icon next to each field. The Translate screen opens:

Enter your translations and click Save. Your translations are saved.

Pagination

Once you have created your System Dashboard, you can manage the permissions of it. To manage the permissions, click the Dashboard you want to manage:

The Dashboard Settings -  screen opens.

As of our March 2023 release, we have introduced the ability to customise the colours of the pagination designs. To change the colours, using hex colour codes, enter the code for the colours you want for the font colour and background colour. You can also use the colour picker and select a colour there:

Select the Default check box, if you want your pagination colours to remain the default colours

Click Save to save your changes. If you're also managing permissions, don't click save yet and follow the next lot of instructions.
