The iSheet references tool, available from System admin > iSheet admin > iSheet references, allows you to locate iSheets that reference an iSheet via lookup and/or join columns. The iSheet references tool requires you to select the site location of an iSheet, and then optionally enter the Sheet name, Column name and View name.
The iSheet references tool allows you to locate relationships between iSheets from a lookup source iSheet. One reason a system admin may need to use this tool is if an end-user reports being unable to delete a particular iSheet item, and there is no other reason other than that item is being referenced in another iSheet via a lookup and restrict delete is enabled.
In order to determine which iSheets reference the lookup source iSheet, a system admin can select the site and sheet name of the iSheet reported by the end-user and clicking Show references:
All iSheets that reference the selected lookup source iSheet via either lookup or join columns will appear:
The results detail any columns and views referenced from the source iSheet (the iSheet selected for the reference search) and which iSheets and columns reference them (the target sheet, column view).
