Detailed release notes and other changes

September updates

System administration

• We have added System config admin and System user admin roles to improve site confidentiality ^{SITE ADMIN}

Files

• A user or group may now be restricted to see only files they have uploaded themselves ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Basic users' default settings have changed so they can only see files uploaded by themselves or the basic user group ^{SITE ADMIN} 

ThoughtTrace

• To support the individual actions of deleting files and folders, up to removing all data from ThoughtTrace for a Site, we have introduced options when managing the ThoughtTrace AI engine that enable you to select whether files are removed automatically or not ^{SITE ADMIN}
• We have also introduced the ability for a Site Administrator to remove/change the tenant for ThoughtTrace at the site level, with appropriate actions invoked to clear data from a tenant and for a System Administrator to revoke connections or turn off ThoughtTrace across an instance of HighQ ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}

Contract Express Doc Auto

• A new HighQ Doc Auto site is created with default configuration when Contract Express is enabled in system admin settings  ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}

Workflow

• Our Workflow will now be able to send emails to one or more addresses that are found within selected multi-line text columns ^USERS 
• It will also be possible to automatically update multi-line text columns in an iSheet, with either free text, variables or a combination of both. Please note that rich text and plain text will be supported ^USERS
• It will now be possible to copy text columns from the Contract Express output iSheets that currently use MLT columns for text, to the file metadata iSheet ^USERS

Search

• Numerous search improvements making search more convenient, faster and intuitive are being prepared for general release and customers are invited to try these beta features ^{USERS ON REQUEST}

HighQ Drive

• HighQ Drive for Windows now provides long file path support to allow complete and descriptive folder structures. ^USERS

Performance improvements

• We have made a number of improvements in the areas of Files, iSheets, Notifications, Blogs, Search, Unified Dashboards, Office Plugin, User and Activity.

Files

• System performance has been improved when displaying folder content. Permissions are now processed quicker, meaning that folder lists will be displayed to the user at a much faster rate
• Content administrators and above can now see all folder contents of a site, removing the need to check permissions
• Viewing document permission pages is now, on average, 40% faster for content administrator user roles and above
• Folder retrieval time has been improved by 50%
• Document alerts are now 50% quicker
• Retrieving attachment counts is now 73% quicker
• Folder permission count alert time has been improved by 60%
• Syncing API changes is now 50% faster
• OCR document retrieval is now 80% quicker
• There has been a significant improvement in eSign tracking, which is now 96% faster
• Navigating folder tree links now occurs almost instantly

iSheets

• Retrieving document versions is now 66% faster
• You can now retrieve document links 75% quicker
• Link column type retrieval performance has been improved
• iSheet alerts are now more than 6x faster

Notifications

• We have optimised activity notification calls by re-designing activity flow

Blogs

• The time it takes to view recent activity on microblogs has been significantly reduced to just 1 second

Search

• Document version indexing is now 92% quicker

Unified Dashboard

• The time to load the approval panel is now more than 3x faster

Office Plugin

• When used with Outlook, we now sync folders on one level at a time - rather than multiple levels. This reduces the the load exerted on APIs and in turn, minimises timeouts and errors
• We have future-proofed the web-view controller by moving to a Chrome based controller, instead of an IE based one

User

• It is now 10x faster to retrieve and view All Following Users

Activity

• Retrieving recent activity is now twice as fast

AI Hub

• You can now modify the names and descriptions of AI classes or clauses that you trained in HighQ AI ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}
• You can now assign a view to a question column when importing columns from an AI engine ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• Modifications that remove data in an AI service (blank records) are now also applied to the linked iSheet ^{SITE ADMIN}

Administration

• You may now filter for varied admin roles in user admin search and audits ^{SITE ADMIN}

Integrations

• Connect to ThoughtTrace Thoughts and Facts with ThoughtTrace integration in the AI Hub ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN INTEGRATION}
• The Legal Tracker integration now syncs matter information to and from Legal Tracker ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN INTEGRATION}
• You can now use HighQ Forms with a Legal Tracker Matter intake iSheet ^{SITE ADMIN}

Workflow

• A new variable allows you to add the recipient's first name in emails sent from Workflow ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can now set a scheduled rule to expire when the site is archived ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Automatically created folders can now inherit permissions from the parent folder ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Record which user triggered a step in Workflow by using a 'Modified by' variable in a user-lookup column ^{SITE ADMIN}

Tasks

• You can now restrict which fields an assignee can edit in their assigned tasks ^{SITE ADMIN USERS}

Approvals

• You can now set due dates and reminders for improved approval workflow ^{SITE ADMIN}

System Dashboards

• We have introduced the ability to add the approvals panel to a custom system dashboard, which will show the user's list of approvals when they log into the homepage. Additionally, it can show any outstanding contract approvals that need to be reviewed ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Users can now bypass permissions when displaying data. You can aggregate all data from the source sites, rather than hide the data that the user may not have permission to see ^{SITE ADMIN}
• We have included font and size options within the CK editor panel ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can now add multiple assignees for a task panel ^{SITE ADMIN}

Publisher

• You can now change the delimiter in the Content report, User email / Site preference report, User report and Organisation report; use comma, colon, pipe or semi-colon ^{SITE ADMIN}
• We have added additional filters for the user email / site preference report ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can now customise the Archived content error message ^{SITE ADMIN}
• To improve the consistency of content, footers are now displayed when viewing preference email content ^{SITE ADMIN}
• After you view teaser content, you are now taken to the article when you log in, instead of the Publisher home page ^{SITE ADMIN}
• We have introduced advanced capabilities to provide more personalised, preference-driven content with enhanced logic for targeted marketing campaigns ^{SITE ADMIN}

• You can now add snippets to the Mega Menu. This provides different text to organisations/user groups based on the permissions of the snippet ^{SITE ADMIN}

HighQ Drive

• Support for downloading files to the local storage of iOS devices ^USERS
• Improved swipe action response and usability ^USERS
• Enhanced performance when viewing files in grid view ^USERS
• HighQ Drive is now more responsive when browsing large sites

Performance improvements

We have made a number of improvements in the areas of Files, AI Hub, Dashboards, Search, Site Admin, Wiki and Publisher 

Files

• Database entries for deleted content are now moved to a separate table for long-term storage and reporting; this greatly improves the performance of the live database
• The system now monitors video files and removes unused form factor conversions if the file has not been used for a month
• Syncing activities are now over 90% quicker
• Document versioning is now over 95% quicker
• Retrieving folder permission has improved by 45%
• Improvements to document retrieval for macro have been reduced by 80%
• File list API retrieval now takes 5 seconds

AI Hub

• Document processing for 7 documents has been reduced by two thirds

Dashboards

• We have reduced the time it takes to retrieve performance activity lists and dashboard activities by over 90%
• The time required to access home modules on System Dashboards has been halved

Search

• Searching for all content types performance has improved by 25%

Site Admin

• Retrieving system properties performance is now 30% quicker
• Site summary data can now be retrieved 89% quicker
• Adding users to a user base site now occurs instantly
• Finding user permission groups is now over 97% quicker
• Sharing content performance has improved by one third
• Performance when exporting to Excel has improved by 10% across the application 
• Accessing the group activity module is now one third quicker

Wiki

• The time it takes to find Wiki access lists has been reduced by 85%

Publisher

• Downloading user email/site preferences report performance has been halved
• Response times of preference change activity GET API are now 5x faster
• Text image panel data indexing performance has improved by 80%
• Searching users by advanced search is 4 x faster, searching 100k users now takes 10 seconds compared to 40 seconds previously
• User session tracking performance has improved by 50%
