HighQ Release Notes for 2024 Q2

Upcoming updates

Updates are released on a monthly schedule. Customer updates are currently planned for these dates:

• 8th of June
• 6th of July
• 8th of August

These dates are for the first production updates to customers without UAT/sandbox instances.

June 2024 updates

Overview

For customers with sandbox/UAT instances, Collaborate 5.8.4 will be deployed to sandbox/UAT instances over the 8th-9th June, then production deployment will take place over the 22nd-23rd June. 

For customers without sandbox/UAT instances, Publisher 5.8.3 will be deployed to production instances over the 15th-16th June.

HighQ Collaborate feature release highlights

Guest users can revise answers during document generation

• If you have licensed guest access for document automation, guest users can avoid recreating the entire questionnaire for small mistakes by editing their answers, as long as they are in the same browser session.

Easier management for embedded images

• When you add an image to a page from the server, Images are displayed in the order they were uploaded, with the most recent images at the top.

Add links to folders in Workflow

• You can use a default or system-generated 'Folder link' as an insert variable in a task or event description, or the content of an email.

Intuitive edits to Tasks

• If you can edit a field, the edit icon is always visible in a task window

HighQ Publisher feature release highlights

• Content administrators are now able to configure which metadata fields are visible on an event dashboard, allowing clients to quickly access important information about events without having to navigate away from the dashboard
• Another feature to enhance the Event module in HighQ Publisher will allow clients to customise the displayed of the location of events directly on the Event panel, enabling clients to quickly identify where events are taking place without having to open individual event pages

API for User invitations 

• It is now possible to send user invite actions from APIs. This means you can now create an API to send invites to the HighQ platform directly to users from external systems or applications. Giving the administrator the ability to schedule date and times for these invites to go out, or to send them out immediately. This allows for an automated user onboarding and invitation processes

Improving client onboarding

• As of our June 2024 release, we have introduced a feature to help streamline and accelerate the process for onboarding new clients and implementing their desired configurations in HighQ Publisher. Within the Theme setup, new clients will be able to utilise client name and product name tokens to define the welcome text of a login page, enabling quick and efficient configuration to the platform to meet their specific requirements, enabling them to achieve desired outcomes faster

Interact with HighQ & Legal Tracker directly from Outlook:

• Use the power of AI to rapidly extract key matter intake insights from a legal request received via email and to effortlessly create new matters. If key information is missing, automatically generate an email draft requesting more information.
• Save emails, email discussions, and legal documents from within Outlook to your legal platform.
• Create dynamic links to share legal documents in outgoing emails.
• Upload documents to your legal platform.

Performance and security improvements

Publisher

• To maintain robust security measures we have implemented crucial security enhancements for HighQ Publisher, including integrating Veracode and upgrading Struts
• The people directory microservice has been upgraded to version 2.1.0
• Video microservices have been upgraded to version 1.6.1

Data Visualisation Panels

• Loading of File Metadata iSheets columns during data vis panel configuration is now 10x faster 
• Loading time when filtering by Status Value is now 14x quicker

May 2024 updates

Overview

For customers with sandbox/UAT instances, Collaborate 5.8.2 will be deployed to sandbox/UAT instances over the 4th-5th May, then production deployment will take place over the 18th-19th May. 

For customers without sandbox/UAT instances, Collaborate 5.8.2 will be deployed to production instances over the 11th-12th May.

Feature release highlights

Improve visibility of repeated data sets

• In the first stage of improving how recurring data is displayed in HighQ, users will experience better visibility of repeated variable data, making it simpler to comprehend the structure of interconnected recurring data.

Improve execution of legal documents with Adobe Acrobat Sign 

• eSignature integration provides the flexibility for custom positioning of multiple signature tags in documents

Secure default permissions for folder creation

• Remove all permissions for new folders created with the UI, API or Workflow if 'Do not inherit parent folder permissions' is active, so permissions are not compromised.

April 2024 updates

Overview

• Users can now in-line edit status fields without viewing a task in full. This applies to the task list and the hierarchy view

Enhancing Customisation for Dashboards

• We are adding the siteID and the homePageID/systemDashboardID as classes in the CSS body, allowing for more targeted styling and ensuring that your custom styles are applied precisely to the intended pages or dashboards

Performance and security improvements

Files

• Loading folder trees is now 80% faster

Users

• Accessing user lists is now 30% quicker

Configuration

• Updating instance configuration when swagger is enabled is 90% faster
