November updates

UAT updates start the weekend of the 3rd December 

Customer updates during contractual service windows, starting from the 10th December

December updates - A maintenance release is planned for mid December (5.7.11.1). The next feature release (5.7.12) is planned for January 2023, with updates to UAT expected from January 8th. 

Files

• You can now add file relationships such as Parent/child and Duplicate ^{USERS SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}

Doc Auto (powered by Contract Express)

• Doc Auto (powered by Contract Express) will automatically add Parent/child relationships when a bundle of documents is generated ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}

Workflow

• You can move files in an attachment column to an automatic folder if the triggering iSheet contains an attachment column ^{SITE ADMIN}

• You can now define the requestor of a generated document so that Own permissions may be used to restrict view access ^{SITE ADMIN}

Tasks

• Long listings of Task lists are now divided into pages to improve performance on the Tasks admin page ^{SITE ADMIN}

iSheets

• Today's date is now available as a variable for formulas defined in a Calculation column ^{SITE ADMIN}

• Additional search parameters make it easier to search iSheet date ranges in Advanced search ^USERS

Contract Express Integration

• Doc Auto users may now collaborate when editing a Contract Express questionnaire, with alerts when changes are made by other users ^INTEGRATION

• Signatories to documents can now be auto-populated when documents are sent for esignature with DocuSign ^INTEGRATION

 

DocuSign

• A site admin can now choose which landing page is opened when documents are prepared for signature ^{USERS SITE ADMIN INTEGRATION}

AI Hub

• The AI insights chart now resizes the remaining segments in a chart when segments are hidden, shown, added or removed, enabling you to view small amounts of data ^USERS

Publisher

• Administrators now have the ability to include video conferencing links in Events ^{SITE ADMIN}

• We have introduced a new Auto-Archive feature to automatically archive content that is no longer relevant ^{SITE ADMIN}

• We have introduced default permissions for snippets, to help administrators when setting up snippet permissions for organisations or groups and preventing the accidental setting of restricted content to public ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

• We have made improvements to the layout for the bounceback tool, allowing for easier use, including archiving bounceback records and searching for bouncebacks between a date range ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

• You can now hide feature title panels in dashboards without the need for CSS ^{SITE ADMIN}

• You can now set email defaults in campaigns, removing the need for users to set email default types every time they set up a new email ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

System Dashboards

• A new panel on custom landing pages provides access to DocAuto templates on the user landing page. This improves the user experience for users who want to quickly and easily generate and automatically receive documents. For example, a paralegal/lawyer/partner can access contract express templates and then launch questionnaires to generate documents, such as NDAs, without looking through each site ^USERS

• Dashboard administrators can now display and hide empty sections within a dashboard, increasing flexibility when customising their dashboards ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

HighQ Drive

• All versions of HighQ Drive now support file relationship tags ^USERS

Performance improvements

The November release introduces the following performance improvements:

Files

• Retrieving document folder IDs is 3x faster
• Retrieving documents when permissions are not used is 3x faster
• Retrieving both folders and documents when permissions are not used is 40% faster
• Retrieving all documents for the File macro in the wiki is twice as fast
• Retrieving all folders and documents for an index-filtered group is 18% faster
• Time taken to apply document/folder permissions for content admin and above roles has been reduced by 66%
• Retrieving the list of received items in My Files is 75% faster

Tasks

• Deleting a task list is 20% faster

Audits

• Audits are retrieved in half the time

Please note there is currently a delay to the deployment window. The above dates reflect the new, accurate dates for UAT and updates

System Administration

• Send alerts to selected admins when the user quota is about to be reached ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• Provide sorting of user search result table by date in system admin ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• Set default notification selections for new users ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Site templates

• Site templates now include Contract Express configuration (including Workflow rules for Contract Express), for internal templates only ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Site templates now include Thomson Reuters Document Intelligence (was ThoughtTrace) folder settings and iSheet column mappings, for internal templates only ^{SITE ADMIN}

Files

• Admins can now choose to store entire emails sent to a site inbox email address ^{SITE ADMIN}

Workflow

• You can add a link to an automatic folder if the triggering iSheet contains a folder link column ^{SITE ADMIN}

Appliance

• Set the user type (internal, basic or external) when syncing users with the Active Directory connector ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

HighQ Forms

• You can now choose if the form confirmation webpage is opened in a new window, or uses the same window ^{SITE ADMIN}
• Text in drop-down menus is now wrapped to fit the width of the drop-down menu ^USERS

Thomson Reuters Document Intelligence Integration (formerly ThoughtTrace)

• AI columns now default to the correct data type during the import process ^{SYSTEM ADMIN SITE ADMIN}
• When AI Hub is enabled in iSheets, you now have a 'show more' option for multi-line text mappings that open iSheet settings ^{SITE ADMIN}
• AI columns in iSheets with the same name but from different AI engines are now disambiguated ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can include Document Intelligence configuration in a site template ^{SITE ADMIN}

Performance improvements

In the October release we made a number of performance improvements:

Admin

• For customers with large numbers of organisations in their system, performance is improved when managing these organisations
• Managing system groups that have large amounts of members is now up to 95% quicker

Attachments

• Linking attachments from recent pages is now 40% faster 

Activity

• It is now 90% faster to retrieve dashboard activities when browsing between modules and uploading files

Dashboards

• Dashboards now load 5x faster

Files

• The document viewer now supports local caching of documents. This reduces access time by 66% for frequently used documents ^USERS
• We have optimised the performance of our document thumbnail service when handling a large number of files
• There are now more efficient connections with eSignature and Contract Express; improving the performance and reliability of the Files module
• File count and size retrieval improved by 4%
• Sharing file content is now instant
• It is now 5x quicker to unlock Office Online documents
• It is now twice as fast to unlock CE documents
• Updates to document access for users and groups is over 90% faster
• Enforcing group switch is now 3x quicker
• It is now 50x faster to remove group folder access
• Removing group documents is now instant
• You can now update the file metadata view instantly
• Inserting eSign revoke data is now 96% faster
• It is now 95% quicker to update the status of documents
• The document data report is now retrieved 6x faster
• You can now instantly export selected records to Excel
• It is now over 2x faster to retrieve all documents
• Shared items, favourite files and folders are now retrieved instantly
• The document version is now retrieved more than twice as quickly
• We have optimised the download of site maps

iSheets

• CSV retrieval is now twice as fast 
• During folder creation, invalid database calls are now prevented, leading to improved performance
• Performance has been improved when inserting attachments
• View and edit operation speeds have improved by 30%
• You can now insert draft attachments in less than half the time
• iSheet grids are now loaded 4x faster

Search

• Searching content is now, on average, 27% faster

Templates

• Retrieving templates is now 90% faster

Users

• It is now 45% quicker to update user system groups

Workflow

• Date trigger reliability has been improved by up to 99.999%
